Exhibitions

Hanfaninha gallery is a project started by young Egyptian artists, graduates of the American University of Cairo. It is a studio gallery founded to give all kinds of artists working in all artistic fields the freedom of creativity, experiment and expression. Hanfaninha is a place where artists meet, collaborate, and work in an environment that is both inspiring and accommodating. Our studio seeks to give artists a chance to explore ideas while offering stimulation and fulfillment.
At the beginning of every month a select number of capable artists will be chosen to participate in the studio; where they will be given the space to create and produce their artwork. After completion Hanfaninha will hold a proficient opening exhibition for the artists’ work in our gallery where we will provide the space, the curating and the advertising for the event. The artists will have complete access to the Hanfaninha studio and will be given total liberty in choosing the field and subject they will be working on.
Hanfaninha aims to encourage young artists of all backgrounds and people with artistic talents to pursue their passions. As well as also giving a chance for young artists to appear and make a name for them in the competitive Egyptian art scene.

Hanfaninha is both a working studio; where artists are free to come and work, experiment and collaborate with other fellow artists at their own leisure and a gallery; that gives all artists a chance to display their work in a professional environment that is contemporary and accessible at the beginning of each month.
